Segmented Cone Layout 1 of 3

The Concentric Segmented Cone Layout creates a mathematical layout of a cone, including percent waste, edge length, and output to a AutoCad DXF file or printed output. Use this once, and you've probably paid for Vessel Tools, in terms of time saved and accuracy. See the Comparison Tab, where you can select the number of gores (sections) based on layout style, percent drop, and weld length. Then see part of the output on the Layout Tab. (Not all the information is visible without scrolling). The DXF output produced is a scale layout of the actual parts, without dimensions, and can be used as a starting point for creating a drawing or exporting as geometry for your CNC controlled cutting system.
